Project Policies

Project policies & terms.

The operating policies that apply to every project intake, production run, and release. By submitting a project, you acknowledge these terms.

Estimates

  • Online estimates produced by the quote wizard are not guaranteed final invoices.
  • Final billing is based on actual quantities received, processed, stored, packed, released, and any additional services performed.

Deposits

  • Deposits reserve project review and production scheduling.
  • Deposits are credited toward the final invoice unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Deposits do not guarantee production approval if materials are determined to be incompatible.

Material Compatibility

  • The customer is responsible for providing compatible labels, containers, cartons, inserts, and components.
  • Materials that do not meet our published specifications may require additional labor, hand application, rework, or may be declined.
  • Final production approval is required before work begins.

Freight & Shipping

  • The customer is responsible for inbound and outbound freight, including labels, carrier accounts, pickup instructions, Amazon FBA labels, and retailer routing guides.
  • American Label Group does not book freight, purchase shipping labels, coordinate freight payment, or guarantee carrier transit times unless separately agreed in writing.

Payment & Release

  • Orders must be paid in full before release.
  • Completed goods, unused components, or remaining materials may be held until payment is received.
  • Unpaid orders will not be released to a carrier or pickup.

Storage

  • Storage may apply to completed goods, delayed pickups, excess components, or materials awaiting customer instructions.
  • Storage is billed weekly when applicable, using the rates published on the pricing page.

Rework & Additional Labor

  • Missing materials, incorrect labels, damaged goods, relabeling, cleaning, repacking, special handling, or unclear instructions may result in additional charges.
  • Additional labor is billed at our then-current rates and added to the final invoice.

Customer Responsibility

  • The customer is responsible for product compliance, label content accuracy, barcode accuracy, and regulatory requirements.
  • The customer is responsible for Amazon and retailer prep requirements, shipment plans, routing guides, and any category-specific instructions.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring shipped inventory matches the project intake and quote wizard submission.
